Jean-François Fontaine
Jean-François began his career in 1996 at Mac Guff Ligne as a graphic designer. In 2001, he co-founded the studio Machine Molle, where he served as Head of Visual Effects. In 2016, the studio expanded its activities into fiction, and Jean-François went on to supervise the VFX for the TV series A Very Secret Service (Au service de la France). This project earned him the PIDS Award for Best VFX Supervisor in the TV Fiction category that same year. He later collaborated with directors such as Aritz Moreno (Advantages of Travelling by Train), Kirill Serebrennikov (Petrov’s Flu), and Quentin Dupieux (Mandibules). Today, he brings his expertise as an executive producer and VFX artistic director to Tools and Folks

Selim began his career in 2003 at Duboi as a 3D artist. He went on to hold various positions, notably at Duran and CGEV, where he developed his expertise in visual effects as a 3D supervisor. Over the years, he gained valuable on-set experience working on numerous feature films. With a strong background in both studio-based and on-set visual effects, he joined Machine Molle in 2020 as a VFX supervisor. In 2023, he worked on the set of the TV series The Serpent Queen (Season 2) as an on-set VFX supervisor. At Tools and Folks, he brings his technical and creative expertise to the production of visual effects.
